Where: Near New Mexico border on way toward Texas

God Is Good!

Praise God from Whom all blessings come! Though people’s needs and my own challenges have been beyond description…God is good…all the time! Weather has been in the 90’s, opportunity to get a good tan more than adequate, and the road before me long……..

Stepping Onward...

Passing through Tucson, AZ was an interesting experience as I visited with many pastors of numerous denominations.   As I sat with them at length in different settings…I was able to ask questions about their cities, churches, callings, and visions. Some leaders were discouraged, others hopeful…but, most held perspectives aware to varied degrees that world events are growing more troubling each day. Their answers revealed the challenges they face as individual shepherds, the hunger levels of their people, and how far all of us must travel in our relationships with Jesus Christ prior to His return. Moving through Vail on toward Benson, AZ was much the same.  Reality unfolds one step at a time...

Gaining Perspective

Walking the land is enlightening in many ways as one simply encounters the unexpected one step at a time. Some days I meet hitch hikers and farmers…other days I bump into people at convenience stores while filling up on water…and on still other days…I cross trails with pastors, churchgoers, police officers, gang members, and homeless people leaning into their grocery cart filled with life possessions pushing it through gravel lots with sweat dripping from their brow. My trail grants me the extreme privilege to meet everyone from people of God to those in need of Him. My encounters are unique, unplanned, and many times gut-wrenching as I travel my path step-by-step across our great land.

Looking For Answers

As I continue to pour through the bible in light of escalating and unparalleled tragedies cropping up all around the globe taking them to my knees in prayer…it is obvious that personal-to-world tensions are rising sharply as Jesus foretold would occur just prior to His return in Matthew 24. Sadly, many are asleep at the switch like a deer caught in the headlights of a truck prior to impact. Professing believers are caught in the crossfire between loving God and relative truth. The unsaved are trapped between powerless religion and needing God’s rest for their souls. And, church leadership walk a tightrope stretched between spiritual authenticity and compromise. In all cases…one’s all-out embrace of God’s love, truth, and mercy in Jesus Christ…remains one’s only hope.

Crying Out

My heart breaks and tears flow as I find myself pierced by the gulf between human need and miss-guided religion that lacks the power to help dying people live in a miraculous life transformed by Jesus Christ. Some feel I’ve grown negative in my views as I try to communicate what emerges before my eyes each day.   I always thought accurate reporting of what one observes makes one honest…not a critic. Sadly, many calling themselves Christians today would rather believe a spiritual fantasy erasing truth than reality through the eyes of God. Jesus was clear how people would be living in the last days. Why are we so surprised when all Scripture foretells happens all around us? Jesus also declared those who would be found faithful in Matthew 24. No matter what we choose to believe…God is always right. So, please join me in doing our part as we work out our salvation with fear and trembling before a dying world. People need the Loving Savior, not empty words.

The Real Deal

Remember, Jesus the Bridegroom is coming back to marry a bride He gave His life up for at the cross…a bride who is without stain or wrinkle, blameless and holy, and radiant before Him. Our only hope remains freedom from sin through the blood of Jesus the One and Only Christ.  Please dear friend…cry out to God asking Him to take you deeper into intimacy with Him at any cost…  We are approaching our last chance to fall in love with our King.   It's time to get real...
